Help for Alumni Game

I am asking everyone to please respond to Ed Horowitz’s request for support for the snack bar supplies and the alumni game. We have only received responses from three varsity team parents and one (1) JV team parent. This program will not be able to function or continue unless you support it. To those parents who have already responded, thank you!
Please get back to Ed at ehorowitz1@verizon.net and let him know what you can contribute.
The softball program is for your girls, these programs, however, can not exist unless the parents provide financial and logistical support. We have a great coaching staff, a wonderful group of girls, and they really need our help to ensure they have a successful season. So please pitch in. These girls will only be in High School a short time, don’t miss out.

We have a really big and exciting event planned on Saturday, February 20th – The HBHS Softball Alumni game. We are not only trying to begin a tradition of having our Alumni back for this yearly event, but also to try to raise some more money for the program.
We are going to grill hamburgers and hotdogs, have chips and drinks after the game, and we would like the families to do two things.
First, to volunteer to bring food items for the barbecue (hot dogs, buns, hamburgers, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, condiments, drinks, etc)
Secondly, to donate $5 per person for the barbecue (or $20 per family).
We really need 100% involvement, and you all will really enjoy the festivities, so make every effort to get back to me on what you would be able to bring on that day.
The day will begin at 1:00 p.m. with a fund-raiser home-run derby, then the Alumni vs. Varsity game will be at 2:00 p.m. and then the Barbecue immediately following at 4:00 p.m.
We have asked for volunteers for the setup, home-run derby coordination, and barbecue setup and tear down, and many of you have stepped up – Thank you! However, the more the merrier, so please let me or Angela know if you can pitch in too!

Additional Information about the Alumni Game & Fundraiser:
We will be hosting a BBQ lunch that includes hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, beverages, and dessert.
To help the players who still owe fees, we are going to sell lunch combo tickets for $5 each.
A ticket will be good for either a hot dog or hamburger, plus chips, beverage, and dessert.
The way it works is:
If you sell/purchase tickets, the money goes straight to your individual account.
Example:
If you sell (4) tickets at $20, then you have a $20 credit towards your fees.
If your fees are paid already, you get a $20 credit in your acct to go towards banquet tickets for your guests.
This is a fast and easy way to pay your fees!
Tickets will be available at the event only. No pre-sale.
All other proceeds from the event will go directly to the program.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Looking for any HBHS Softball Alumni!
The 2010 team would like to host an alumni game on Feb 20th at HBHS. Please send us your name, years you played so that we can invite you back this winter. We will have a game, program bbcue and hope to get the alumni back involved with the program. You can email us at HERE.
